Natural stone exporters were at Morocco after Canada and United States


West Mediterranean Natural Stone Cluster made its 3rd trade mission programme to Morocco which has an incline in natural stone demand because of recent infrastructural investments. The commercial delegation consisted of 10 participants from 8 companies including Mustafa SATICI, Chairman of the Board, West Mediterranean Exporters Association. Within framework of the trade mission programme, B2B programme was held with the region's important importers and field inspections were made through facility visits. Önder DUMAN, Commercial Counsellor of Turkey in Rabat, gave crucial information regarding Moroccan market and natural stone sector prior to B2B programme.

During the B2B programme, participants of the delegation seized the opportunity of showcasing their work in international projects, products and production fields. The efficiency and intensity of the B2B programme was mutually appreciated.

The delegation resumed their programme with facility visits which enabled them to investigate the market trends and made business talks.

Morocco's natural stone import was 126,5 million dollars in 2016 and Turkey was their 4th biggest natural stone supplier. It is highly expected that this trade mission programme will increase the future export figures
